Queen: I Love My Car Lyrics

Words and music by roger taylor

The machine of a dream
Such a clean machine
With the pistons a pumpin
And the hub caps all gleam

When Im holdin your wheel
All I hear is your gear
When my hands on your grease gun
Oh its like a disease son

Im in love with my car
Gotta feel for my automobile
Get a grip on my boy racer rollbar
Such a thrill when your radials squeal

Told my girl Ill have to forget her
Rather buy me a new carburetor
So she made tracks sayin
This is the end now
Cars dont talk back
Theyre just four wheeled friends now

When Im holdin your wheel
All I hear is your gear
When Im cruisin in overdrive
Dont have to listen to no run of the mill talk jive

Im in love with my car
Gotta feel for my automobile
Im in love with my car
String back gloves in my automolove

Desire To Take A Break

It’s been a week since I don’t hear any news from my master. Maybe he is now celebrating Hari Raya with his family and relatives. I feel very sad now and lonely but nothing else I could do beside waiting and dwindling here in the showroom until next week for a big day. I am not going to 'naik hangin' or becoming 'panas baran' over him. I am a cool car..

Desire To Own A Number

My master got a big news that his application to bid for my registration number was successful! This special number composing of letters and numbers themselves that are very meaningful to him.

WPP – Wang Pirang-Pirang, in Javanese, means “A lot-lot-lot of Money” ;
Ongko “Papat” – is my master new house number, also refers to his datin's birthdate.

Over his excitement, my master called JPJ and being informed that he cannot register my number yet because the current running number is still WPN! So, my master has to wait for a few more days before registering my new birth certificate.

No Car Thief In Japan?

The officer of the Public Bank called my owner to inform him that the loan was approved. My owner went to the branch in Jalan Klang Lama in the afternoon and signed the agreement.
During this time, I was being driven to the showroom in Kampong Bharu and Mr LL called my owner that I was arrived. However, after informing my owner that my color is white, he was quite upset, because he never thought that he would driving a white Mercedes-Benz! Mr LL told him that the silver color would be arrived in the next shipment in a month time, and would take another month for clearance! So, Mr LL asked him to see and view my body and appearance first before making decision.

My owner came to see me in the showroom that evening. At first, he showed no interest in me due to my white color. But, Mr LL told him that the white Merz is a very special edition and looks beautiful on the road. After a while, finally my owner or my master (of whom I called him later), is falling in love with me. So, he agreed to take me home! Wow.

Mr LL told my master that there will be a few accessories to be installed on my body:
1. window to be tinted again, since I have to be checked and approved by the custom, so the original tinted window to be removed before inspection;
2. a new alarm system, since the car in Japan does not need to be alarm installed! (wow, my owner was surprised about that issue!)
3. an optional to add a new radio system, since in Japan, the radio frequency is different, ie. lower than 100kHZ!

There will be another delayed, Mr LL told my master, due to the Hariraya and Deepavali holidays coming up next week. My master nodded quitely.

Nice Car Nice Number?

Today is a final day to tender car registration number WPP with JPJ Wilayah. My owner had prepared a bank draft and put in the necessary form into the tender box at JPJ Wangsa Maju. The result of the successful bidder would be announced next Friday, 20th October.

My owner would like to have number ‘papat’, which means a lot to him. But his wife argued about the single-digit number and the wasted money for bidding that number, told him that any number would be as good as the number ‘papat’. However, my owner replied that it’s better to have a nice car with a nice number, so that people would not say something like: “Nice Car, No Good Number!”. In that case, then it's better just using the existing Honda City (common car with common number), my master insisted!

Desire To Finance

Mr. LL (the salesman) called my master that he was going to submit his loan application to Public Bank in Jalan Klang Lama. My master agreed about the proposal since he had another car loan with the bank that might be easier to get approval.

Desire About Silver

During lunch time, my master rode his scooter to the Naza World showroom at Kg Baru, which was just a few minutes ride from his office. After discussion with the salesman, Mr. LL, my master ordered me with a booking deposit of RM1,000! My owner told that he prefers a silver color of my model, and he could wait a little longer before driving it.

Wow, so now I have a new owner. During this time, I am still at Klang port, waiting for a custom clearance.

Desire to See

So, this afternoon, my master visited Naza Motor showroom at JB. He saw one C180K model just like the one he owned last time, but older. The salesman told him that the C200K is not available, and he had to order through KL office. Damn, he said.
